Voices & Faces

In 2004, I began a collaboration with writer Anne Ream that we call The Voices and Faces Project. Both survivors of sexual assault, we set out to show what lies beyond the crime of rape. How do those who suffer this form of violence recover their identities, their narratives, and their lives? Over a ten-year period, we traveled across the country as well as to Canada, Mexico, and South Africa, photographing and interviewing survivors.
